A mussel bed survey was successfully executed in April with the mobbing of a NetMC 4k camera on one of our Falcons coupled with a Nexus USBL system. The object was to see if there were any changes to the mussel bed post lay of the product. A video grab from the 4k NetMC camera.

In the summer of 2022, we were subcontracted by 23Degrees to provide pre- and post-lay survey services for the landfall points at Shetland, Fair Isle, and the West Coast. Athenia Responds to a Pan Pan

On Saturday 24/6/2022 the Athenia answered a Pan Pan put out by Shetland Coast Guard on behalf of a lone yachtsman suffering from severe fatigue after his auto pilot failure. She was released from her survey duties whilst working on the BTR100 project. She was first on the scene and managed to make comms with the skipper of the Why Knot.
